The brief called for an easy-to-assemble napkin holder decorated with calligraphy for Ramadan and special-occasion tables.
Process
The napkin holder was designed to be laser-cut from acrylic sheets and slotted together, with joint tolerances set according to material thickness. The Kufic calligraphy was converted to vector so that it would not break during cutting and would keep its fine detail.
